BECOME A MEMBER

Old Riverside Foundation could not accomplish its mission without the generous support of our members. Whether you are an individual, family, or business, there are many ways to help with ideas, time, or with funds. Becoming a member of Old Riverside Foundation is easy – you can join online here.

VOLUNTEER

Old Riverside Foundation has events throughout the year with opportunities to volunteer:

Vintage Home Tour
Docents are needed to guide people through homes, as well as assistance with managing lines and street parking. The Mercantile Faire at the Weber House also needs volunteer assistance.

Salvage Program
Our Salvage Program is a vital part of ORF, but it requires a lot of volunteer work to keep it going. Volunteers are needed for projects ranging from helping to salvage items from buildings being torn down or remodeled to organizing those items for sale. See more information on the Salvage Program page.

See Something? Say Something.

Riverside’s architectural legacy is an intricate tapestry of historic neighborhoods and classic homes. Many owners consider themselves custodians and take every precaution to protect and maintain their home’s integrity for future generations to enjoy. There are, however, some owners who do not hold these same values. For that reason, the City has a permitting system to ensure that the structures are safe and that the fabric of our community remains strong. Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure must obtain the required permits from the City of Riverside. If you come across a project that causes you concern, please contact the City of Riverside Code Enforcement through the City’s 311 call center, or call Code Enforcement directly at (951) 826-5633. If you would rather have Old Riverside Foundation make the inquiry on your anonymous behalf, please e-mail us at [email protected] or call (951) 683-2725 and we’ll help you say something.
