Every year, the Old Riverside Foundation honors painstaking restoration, diligent maintenance, and good adaptive reuse through its annual Awards Ceremony.

This year the Old Riverside Foundation held its 25th annual awards presentation.  The event was held in the Lakeside Room at the Fairmount Park Boathouse on Sunday, August 15 2010.  The Founder’s Award, our highest honor, was presented to Judge Victor Miceli for his leadership on two critical rehabilitation projects: the County Courthouse and Evergreen Cemetery.

Other awards were given for work on:

  • The Fox Performing Arts Center (restoration, rehabilitation, and adaptive reuse)
  • The Bank of Perris Building (restoration)
  • Carlson Bark Park  (rehabilitation, adaptive reuse and maintenance)
  • RCC Alumni House (rehabilitation, adaptive reuse and maintenance)
  • Peter J Weber House (maintenance and craftsmanship)
  • The Barbara and Art Culver Center for the Arts -the old Rouse building (rehabilitation and adaptive reuse)
  • Fairmount Park improvements, including the new universal playground (infill construction) and the Rose Garden (rehabilitation)
  • Twogood Lane housing project (rehabilitation and special category)
  • The Collier House (maintenance)
  • Frank A. Miller Mt. Rubidoux Memorial Park (rehabilitation and maintenance)
